Secretaría del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericano, SICA is the inter-governmental body working towards integration of the 7 countries of Central America. Within SICA, the Central American Commission for Environment and Development, CCAD is the regional institution in Central America responsible for the coordination of the national ministries for the Environment of the seven countries.
